Getting around Lake Tahoe is easy through Reno Tahoe International Airport, which is located just 20 miles from the northwest of the lake and takes approximately 45 minutes to take you to the destination. At Donner Rd, in downtown Truckee is situated the Amtrak train station and the Greyhound bus station. There are several ways to transit from the station to your destination which are:

  • The cheapest transfer option available is only around the North Shore, which is this public bus service available which is known as Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit (TART)
